Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility for our guests while recognizing that cancellations closer to arrival may make it difficult for us to rebook your stay.

Payment Schedule

For reservations made more than 30 days before arrival:

50% of the total reservation amount is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival.

For reservations made within 30 days of arrival, the full reservation amount is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation & Refund Schedule

For reservations booked directly through Gathered Getaways:

30 days or more before arrival
100% of amounts paid will be refunded.

14–29 days before arrival
50% of the total reservation amount will be refunded.

7–13 days before arrival
25% of the total reservation amount will be refunded.

Less than 7 days before arrival
The reservation is non-refundable.

Cancellation deadlines are calculated based on the scheduled check-in date and the local time of the reserved property.

No-Shows & Early Departures

Guests who do not arrive for their reservation, or who choose to depart before their scheduled check-out date, are not eligible for a refund for unused nights.

Weather & Travel Interruptions

Refunds are generally not provided for weather conditions, transportation delays or cancellations, illness, or other circumstances outside the control of Gathered Getaways unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We strongly encourage guests to consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance to protect against unexpected circumstances that may interfere with their trip.

Reservations Made Through Other Booking Platforms

This cancellation policy applies to reservations made directly through the Gathered Getaways website.

Reservations made through Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or another third-party booking platform are subject to the cancellation and refund terms associated with that reservation and booking platform.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original form of payment. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
